2004 Roy J Maier Cabernet Sauvignon
2004 vintage was bottled on June 12, 2006. We produced 930 cases of this Cabernet Sauvignon Bordeaux style wine. We consulted with Cecile Derbes and Mike Hirby on this vintage.
TASTING NOTES:
Bursting through a color that is deep velvety red, the 2004 contains aromas of cassis, chocolate, cinnamon and a hint of black pepper. As promised by the classic aromas, the mouthfeel is rich, yet elegant, and the intense flavors are supported by luscious oak spice which sends the wine into orbit on the long finish.
